I was delighted to showcases a preview of my full Spring / Summer 2015 collection in the Historic Guildhall in Derry ~ Londonderry on Saturday.

I showcased three preview looks from SS15 featuring both my couture dresses and millinery pieces.

My Couture SS15 collection of one-off occasion wear will be available in the shop from January.

Thanks to the PerfectBliss model team of Natasha, Danielle & LisaMarie and also to the team from Joanne Cooke Hair for the fab Hair & Make-up.

My collection was shown at the Topher Lily Fashion Show in The Guildhall, Derry ~ Londonderry alongside other local fashion designers. The show previewed ladieswear SS15 collections from designers from Derry and the wider North West of Ireland.

Ladies Day at the Galway Races is always one of the most glamorous dates in Irelands racing calendar. After all the fun of the Races there is only one place to head - The G Hotel for their annual Best Hat Competition.

This year’s competition was the biggest ever and I'm delighted to say that one of our headpieces worn by Deirdre was picked as a finalist with the chance to win a beautiful black Philip Treacy headpiece. Sadly Deirdre didn't win but with the fantastic standard of Millinery & style on show in the Signature lounge of the G it was great to be a finalist.

Deirdre wore a bespoke John Paul design, a large red free-form headpiece with hand beaded clusters of red crystals & diamantes’ and lace appliqué decoration.

A pair of headpieces which I designed and created for a spectacular royal charity ball have gone on display at London’s Selfridges store alongside designs by some of the leading names in fashion.

Organisers of the glittering Animal Ball invited me to join top designers including Cartier, Christian Lacroix, Christian Louboutin, Fabergé, Jasper Conran, Matthew Williamson, Missoni and Manolo Blahnik in creating a pair of masks to be worn by guests attending the fundraiser for endangered animals.

Guests at the opulent animal-themed ball at Clarence House on July 9 will read like a Who’s Who of the London art, design, fashion, movie, music and literary world and will include HRH Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall as well as fashionistas Kate Moss, Sophie Dahl, Paloma Faith and Cara and Poppy Delevingne and actresses Joanna Lumley and Goldie Hawn. Entertainment at the sumptuous masked ball will be provided by Jools Holland and a series of surprise guest singers.

Event organisers the Elephant Family invited me to create a bespoke pair of masks in my own style to reflect my interpretation of an endangered animal. I chose the extinction-threatened Leopard as my inspiration and decided to combine my millinery techniques with the traditional mask concept to create two maskinators, which are worn like a headpiece but cover the upper face like a mask. .

My two designs are now being displayed in Selfridge’s personal shopping department where the VIP guests attending the lavish jungle-themed event will be invited to go along and choose their mask.

I was delighted to show my collection at Hatwalk - 2013 as part of Brain Tumour Research's "Wear A Hat Day". Alongside myself there was a selection of the most exciting Irish Milliners showing their collections on the catwalk and a fantastic design competition to find the new up-and-coming stars in the world of Millinery. It was a great show in aid of a great cause. I have included some pictures of my hats & headpieces on the Hatwalk catwalk. For more information on Hatwalk see www.hatwalk.info
